Poker "OASIS". Game rules.

Golden Oasis is a gambling card game, one of the poker varieties.
A stack of 52 cards without jokers shall be used for the game.
The order of precedence of cards is ace-king-queen-jack-10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2
In the STRAIGHT hand, ace can act as a card preceding a two in the order of precedence, i.e. ace-2-3-4-5
No suit priority is followed in the game, the order of card precedence is decisive.
The goal of poker game is to collect the best hand of five cards. In doing so, this hand should be greater than the dealer’ hand.

GAME PROCEDURE
Before the beginning of the game, the players make ANTE bets in accordance with the minimal and maximal states specified in the table for each table.
After that the dealer shall deal out cards to each player in the clockwise direction and five cards to himself. The last card shall be dealt exposed.
After the moment when the last card is laid on the table, the players can have a look at their cards. It is prohibited to take cards before such moment.
If the player is satisfied with his/her hand and he/she wishes to bet, he/she should carefully put his/her cards face down on the field for the BET stake and put on the top his/her BET stake being equal to two ANTE bets.
If the player is not satisfied with his/her hand, he/she can try to improve it by switching one, two, three or five cards from the deck. To this end, he/she should fold, with cards face down, those cards, which the player wants to change, and pay for the change an amount being equal to the number of ANTE bets.

If the player considers his/her hand insufficient to continue the game and does not want to have any risk, he/she should put the cards in front of the box with face down and say “pass”. The dealer will take his/her ANTE bet and cards.
After the moment when all the players have made their decisions and put their cards, the dealer shall turn over his/her cards and declare his/her game. Then the dealer will sequentially open cards of the players and compare each player’s hand to his/her hand.
PAYMENT
If the player’s hand is less than the dealer’s hand beats the player’s hand, then the dealer will take both ANTE and BET stakes. If otherwise the player’s hand beats the dealer’s hand, then the dealer shall pay the ANTE bet in ratio 1:1 and the BET stake in accordance with the payment coefficients.
If the dealer does not qualify (the dealer has “no hand”), then he/she shall pay the ANTE bet in ratio 1:1only.
If the dealer and the player have hands of the same type, then the cards comprising the hand should be compared. For example, a pair of jacks is higher than a pair of eights.
If the hands are equal and the cards comprising them have the same rank, then the highest cards not comprising the hand shall be compared. If they are equal, then the cards being next in the order of precedence shall be compared, etc.
If it is necessary to compare player’s two pairs and dealer’s two pairs, then the hand with the higher pair shall win. If they are equal, then lower pairs shall be compared. If they are equal, then the remaining card shall be compared.
If there is a dispute between Straight, Flush or Straight Flush hands, then the highest shall be the hand, which card is higher.
If it is necessary to compare player’s Full House and dealer’s Full House, then the hand with the higher three will win.
Only in case of full identity of the card hands (only suits differ), STAND OFF (a draw) shall be declared. In doing so, the ANTE and BET stakes will not be paid and taken.
The minimal hand is Ace-King.

INSURANCE
If a player has a “3 of a kind” or higher hand, he/she can, at his/her option, before showdown of the dealer’s cards, insure it against the dealer’s no hand. To this end, the player should make an additional bet within the range from the ANTE bet to the expected payment for his/her hand. The bet for insurance can be made only by the box host.
If the expected payment is greater than the maximal payment on the given table, then the value of bet for insurance cannot exceed this maximal payment.
If the dealer has no hand, then the bet for insurance shall win and be paid in ratio 1:1. If the dealer has a hand being different from “no hand”, the bet for insurance will lose. A situation when the dealer’s hand is higher or equal to the player’s hand is an exception. In such case the bet for insurance shall not be taken and paid.
STRAIGHT FLUSH and ROYAL FLUSH
If the player has a Straight Flush hand or a Royal Flush hand and the dealer does not qualify or lose, or the dealer’s hand is equal to the player’s hand, then the player shall be paid a HALF of the expected payment for the box. In doing so, if the dealer’s hand is higher than the player’s hand, then the ANTE and BET stakes WILL NOT LOSE. If a HALF of payment from a Straight Flush hand or a Royal Flush hand is greater that the maximal payment on the table, then the player shall be paid only the maximal payment on the table.
GAME ON TWO BOXES NON-BLIND
Any visitor of casino has a possibility to play on 2 boxes “non-blind”. In doing, the following conditions should be met:
- Minimal bet on the table – 15 euro;
- No switching of 5 cards;
- Boxes should be neighbouring;
- ANTE nets on both boxes should be identical;
- One person per table should play.
A decision to continue the game and to insure shall be made sequentially, initially on the first box, then on the second box.
BONUS
BONUS in Golden Oasis poker is a bet being equal to 10% of ANTE (exception: at the bet of 5 euro, the bonus equals to 0,6 euro). If there is the BONUS bet on the box, the player shall get additional capabilities in the game on the given box. The bet on BONUS shall be taken by the dealer always upon completion of the game.
Additional capabilities:
- Switching of 2 cards for 1 ANTE or purchase of the 6th card for 1 ANTE;
- Purchase of the game after showdown of the dealer cards; in doing so, the player’s hand and the dealer’s hand shall be compared.
If the player has 6 cards on hand, then the “hand” concept means the highest five-card set of cards being selected from six cards. In doing so, the remaining card from six cards will by no means be considered.
